The project includes a 9,000-square-foot pre-engineered building addition with a new electrical service entrance and fire protection system throughout the new space, as well as the existing structure. The 10,000-square-foot existing building received numerous structural changes to create a 65-foot clear span girder above machine #1, demolition of the exterior bearing masonry wall to allow for the installation of a 55-foot girder over machine #2, and installation of two new structural equipment pads. Key Construction also renovated offices and restrooms and made them ADA compliant.
