East Wichita, KS
This 12,000-square-foot multi-functional orthopedic facility includes a physical therapy area, occupational health department, exam rooms, and billing and administration areas. Conveniently located in the Wilson Estates Medical Park, this state-of-the-art facility includes a media center and aesthetically pleasing exterior water features.
West Wichita, KS
When Mid-America Orthopedics decided to expand to the West side of Wichita, Key Construction was again chosen as their contractor. The 11,300-square-foot medical office building consists of 10 exam rooms, five physical therapy rooms, an open gym for rehabilitation, an X-ray facility, an MRI facility, a casting room, a procedure room and a conference room. The exterior is highlighted by a detention pond with a fountain.
The 75,000-square-foot facility was completed one month ahead of schedule and with total owner satisfaction. The facility includes nine exam rooms, one MRI room, an X-ray area, nurse’s stations, a physical therapy gym, a waiting room, a conference room and two offices.
The center includes a 9,000-square-foot orthopedic clinic and a 7,000-square-foot ambulatory surgery center. The building construction includes a structural steel framework and shear systems with steel stud partitions and honed limestone facade. Site improvements include a 14-foot limestone block and MSE retaining wall for separation from the existing detention pond, new parking and landscaping package. The project includes various building amenities such as a stamped concrete patio overlooking the pond, physical therapy area, hydraulic elevator, and two operating rooms.
