Regal Theater Remodel - San Antonio, TX

The Regal Theater project consisted of a multi-phase interior renovation of an existing two-story, 16-screen theater. Originally constructed as a cement plant and later converted into a theater, the facility underwent significant upgrades to enhance the guest experience. Key Construction performed interior alterations to all auditoriums to accommodate new electric-powered recliner seating, which included removing existing seats, finishes, and lighting; reconfiguring stadium cross aisles; and installing all new interior finishes.

The project also included the conversion of an existing storage room into a wellness room for staff. Work was completed in three carefully sequenced phases—beginning with four first-floor theaters, then half of the second-floor auditoriums, and concluding with the remaining theaters—allowing the theater to remain open to the public throughout construction.
