RSU Dining Hall
The new 17,131-square-foot dining hall facility and below-grade storm shelter have a back-up emergency generator that will operate the entire facility. The 6,679-square-foot storm shelter is FEMA rated and constructed of 12-inch cast-in-place concrete walls and 6-inch cast-in-place concrete lid on steel composite deck. The shelter area can hold approximately 600 occupants in need of protection from inclement weather with full-service men’s and women’s restroom facilities.
